Extremely clean with a peaceful environment. The food was outstanding as was the beer and overall it makes me sad we are not locals as this would be a place we would be regulars at if we lived here.
Best restaurant in Las Vegas! We got the sampler platter, it was amazing! We will be coming here every time we are in town now! Sorry I took the picture after we ate some.
First visit to Cafe Berlin. Took my family for Octoberfest. The food was great and so was the service. Our server was very courteous, attentive, and personable. She answered any and all questions we had about the menu and ensured our order was delivered in a timely manner. The café isn't very large but comfortable. Parking spaces are limited because of the location. Great place to get a great meal. And the prices are very reasonable.
I've been coming here for years and could've swore I did a Yelp review before , but it's not showing up. So , let's do one now. I was stationed in Germany for 4 years , 1985 to 1989 when the Berlin Wall was still standing , and of course grew to love German Food and of course German Beer ( Bier ). Whenever I go to other places on vacation I even look for new German restaurants to try. I've been in Vegas since 1991 and used to go to Alpine Village , Cafe Heidelberg , and even the Hofbrauhaus. Cafe Berlin is soooo much better than Hofbrauhaus and the prices are also better. The owners are from Cologne , Germany and the food has flavor , not bland like Hofbrauhaus. The owners and staff are friendly and the selection of foods is very good and also beer selection and desserts. I normally get the Jägerschnitzel which comes with Spaetzle and of course a good German beer. For dessert I like the Apfelstrudel ( Apple Strudel ) with cream and vanilla ice cream. I've brought many of my co-workers here so they could try it and we normally will get a Wurst Plate and the Jägerschnitzel and an Appetizer Plate which comes with a Pretzel , Potato Pancakes , Onion Cheese Twisters , and some sauces , so we can share and they can try stuff they've never had. Everyone loves it and comes back usually asking me to come with them. I also would come almost every year with my son for my birthday. At Octoberfest they have the special beers that come in. They also have Black Forest Cake , Cherry Strudel , and Blueberry Strudel. Of course the Apple Strudel is my favorite. I've had many different things on their menu. They also have a buffet once a month and I miss it every time ! I'm either working or I forget because it's the first Saturday of the month for about 4 hours. I need to set an alert on my phone or something. I would definitely recommend you make a reservation for the buffet if you plan to go. All in all I really recommend you going to Cafe Berlin and if you've never had German Food then bring a friend and get different plates to share with each other.
Stumbled upon this hidden gem while in Vegas for work. I love German food, so I had to give it a try. I couldn’t decide what to order, and the waitress was incredibly accommodating, she helped me create an à la carte option so I could satisfy my craving for both the schnitzel and currywurst. The place was cute and decorated for Christmas, which added to the charm. They also seem to have a solid beer selection, even though I didn’t have any. The food was flavorful and came out quickly. Definitely worth a visit.
We went to Cafe Berlin for Octoberfest. They had nightly specials but we opted for the mushroom schnitzel with red cabbage and potato pancakes added on. We got the large portion of schnitzel and shared which was enough food for 2 full dinners. The red cabbage was good and the potatoe pancakes were authentic. The schnitzel was perfectly cooked, pounded thin, tender and breading was crispy. The dinner was accompanied with spaetzle which would have been better if cooked fresh. The Potato Pancakes were very good and true to the German style. But, all in all, the dinner was authentic and delicious so I gave it a five star. The service was, also, excellent. We had a darling waitress who was very attentive, efficient and very accommodating. The restaurant decor was basic but intimate. My only complaint is that the drinks were a bit pricey, especially the draft beer. I definitely will come back again for a tasty authentic German meal.
Today was our first visit. Enjoyed a yummy new year's day meal. Soup of the day was potato. .. great texture & flavor. The sample platter had a nice variety of things to try. We were very full so took home an apple strudel. Beers were great too. A ton of food so we have dinner for tomorrow. Our server was lovely; very friendly & attentive. It was a slow day for them but we loved the quiet atmosphere. Enjoyed wathing the video images of Germany too. We are planning to go back for beers & apps at the bar next time.
